
DeAngelo Marine Exhaust case study for Universal Robots
McCall Media flew to Fort Lauderdale, FL, to shoot a case study with DeAngelo Marine Exhaust, a small company experiencing a 10x boost in production after deploying a Universal Robot in welding applications.
The remarkable story was conveyed in two 3-minute videos for optimal audience targeting and segmentation; one presenting the business benefits and another taking a deeper dive into how the cobot application works and was programmed.
Videos were accompanied by shorter, written content for Universal Robots’ website and a longer, in-depth article written in a journalistic format pitched to press along with high-res images.
McCall Media also produced nine shorter video snippets formatted for social media feeds.
The social media videos became some of Universal Robots’ best performing content in 2023; campaigns featuring the video snippets in organic campaigns across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram generated 4,902 reactions and 641,894 impressions. Several influencers also picked up the content.
The case study article was published by trade magazines in many large feature articles, generated high numbers of marketing qualified leads in webinars, and was highlighted in thought leadership pieces and in blog posts. The case study continues to be one of the most trafficked pages on the UR website and is also heavily used by sales engineers as persuasive content in direct conversations with prospects researching whether a Universal Robot might be right for them.
